Scotland Forever

Hello again

Its been some time since I last posted an entry in my diary. This summer has been tough for me. Work has been difficult and my mind has been mixed up, but I feel that things have worked themselves right and it is time to get my life back on track.

The weather today is absolutly wonderful here in Central Scotland. The sun is shining and it is really quite warm for this time of the year. Makes you feel happy in weather like this.

Also today I am really happy because my friend from Portugal, Rui, has at last received his Playstation3 system back from the repair guys. At long last we can continue our friendship on PS. I have 2 really dear friends on PS, Rui, and Frank from America.

Today I watched a documentary on the great snooker player Alex Higgins. Alex died earlier this year and this programme was a reflection on his life and career. It was so sad to see the way his life developed and the eventual way he died.

I have returned from taking the staff to work and had some food and now it is time to go myself to work. Oh well thats life, i suppose

Well thats my work day over. Today was quite busy. I did 24 deliveries and there were 2 drivers working. Imran finished around 10pm. It was a fantastic day for weather. It was a pleasure to be out driving in weather like that. I didnt have to take the manager to the Head Office tonight as the area manager took him. I took the Grangemouth contingent home instead which was good for me as I was going in that direction anyway. When I got home I checked my emails and tweets. It was a pleasure to see that Rui had sent a lovely email and tweet, and Frank also sent a lovely email. After eating I emailed them both back.

Scotland begin their Euro 2012 campaign with a match againt Lithuania tomorrow night. It will be a very tough group but I have a feeling, and really you must be optimistic, that we will eventually qualify for a major tournament. It has been far too long and we must eventually come out of Englands nasty dark shadow. We have the world champions, Spain in our group and we also have the Czech Republic, but I feel we have the players capable of finishing second in the group. First place I think is one step too far. Spain are too strong.

Oh well another day over. Time for bed
