My I pad is the best thing I have ever bought. You can do virtually anything with it. I use it for the Internet, email, Facebook, twitter, playing games, reading books, listening to radio, you tube, and many many other things. It is never too far away from me while I am at home. Christmas is approaching again fast. It's the time of the year I don't really enjoy. These days I have no family so for me it's a case of sitting down and watching tv alone, eating microwave meals for one, no turkey for me and basically letting the day go by. I must work on Christmas eve and on boxing day, so no real rest either. Bad weather

We suffered horrendous weather here in Scotland last week , and I thought we would get a wee break from it for a while but unfortunately not. It would seem that here it comes again. High winds, heavy rain, possibly even snow. Anyone who says they enjoy winter must either be fooling themselves or are lying. For me it's sun, heat, beaches, parks and getting a tan for me everytime. God, how I hate winter

a relatively quiet night at work tonight. The boss was behaving strangely tonight. Very angry at times. I don't know what brought this on but he better come out of it soon. I was given a row for chatting to my friend Anna tonight and I think the pizza chef quit although I am not certain of this. All of this came about because the boss found out that our neighbouring branch was busier than us tonight. What can you do about that. I mean if a customer does not want to come and buy on a certain night then there is not a lot you can do about it.

A really busy night at work for me. I don't know why but it was totally crazy. I managed to get my bonus, which I'm happy about. I did 32 deliveries. I got an early finish, around 1030 ish, and I just came home and watched criminal minds on TV.

Welsh Mining Disaster.

Well, as it turns out, all 4 miners were killed in the disaster. I just want to say I am thinking of their families tonight. It was so very sad to hear of this news.

Mining Disaster

3 miners now confirmed dead by Police at the Welsh mine. My heart goes out to the miners families at this time. There is still one miner to be found. I pray that there will be some good news there but as time goes by the chances are looking slim.

Quiet today

Today at work turned out to be the quietest night I have seen in my 7 years working with the company. In fact between 430 and 6pm I had not done a single delivery. As it turned out I finished with just 13 deliveries. Even the take away side of the shop was quiet. When it is like this you start to run out of things to do, and you end up standing around, which in turn makes for a very long night. However, it is 1am and I am safely back home, and it's time to put my feet up and watch some TV.

A full shift for me today. Not too busy, not too quiet. Having big Jim there till 9 pm helped enormously. Finished with 25 deliveries which isn't too bad. Palwinder came near the end and I thought he was going to shout at me because of that car hassle last night. He didn't so it's a big phew from me.
I got home around 130 am and I sat and watched TV.
Still no communication from Frank. I can wait. No tension. When he is ready, he will come back.

My Day

Well, my day was running smoothly for a change. A quiet afternoon watching TV before work was the order of the day for me. I was fully expecting to do full shift today because I thought James wasn't working tonight.
My first few deliveries went well then I began to hear the car making a whining sound. This was the beginning of something much worse. Coming back from a delivery there started a whole load of smoke coming from the exhaust and the car lost acceleration. I managed to get it back to the shop with great difficulty. As it turns out, James was working tonight, and it turns out lucky for me. I had to call it a day and just go home. What I am worried about is the fact that I may have to repair for the damage, when I have done nothing wrong.
Anyway, I went and bought a McDonalds to cheer myself up but of course it didn't.

I spent the rest of the evening on my own messing around with games I have on my I Pad. I went on to the Playstation and played some Tiger for some time, before watching a DVD.

I went to bed and watched some videos on you tube before going to sleep. Another crazy day born out of a normal day. The story of my life it seems. I really wish I could have a regular, uneventful life. That's all I really ask for.

Today

Today, was a nothingness kind of day. While the rain fell, and the wind blew hard, I had no energy nor any desire to go outside into the world.
After playing with my friend Harry on Tiger, I spent the remainder of the afternoon and early evening, watching videos and messing around on my computer.
At 9 I went and played another game of Tiger with Harry then I played 18 holes with Ed. For the first time in a long time I beat him comprehensively. I won by 8 clear strokes.
After our game, we had a good text chat, which kept me company.
I finished the evening watching a TV programme which I had sky plussed, called Inspector Gently. This is a police drama set in the NE of England in the mid sixties. I used to read Inspector Gently books, written by Author Alan Hunter years ago., and although the dramatisation isn't how my imagination saw the stories, I still enjoy watching it.
After a beer to relax my soul, I am now heading off to bed, to prepare myself for the real time drama of my working week.

Good afternoon

It's Tuesday and another relax day for me. I'm still in bed but I am going to get up and play some Tiger with Harry.
Last night I took the plunge and bought the full version of Angry Birds for I Pad. I have been playing the free version for ages and it is so addictive. I am always saying, just one more try, just one more try, and before you know it you've been playing for hours. As I no longer have Frank to chat with I have been feeling lonely so I decided to fill the void with Angry Birds.

It's now 220am, and I've just about had enough for today. I've spent the last few hours watching my TV including a repeat of a Criminal Minds episode.
However, after drinking a beer, I am now beginning to feel tired. So I am off to my bed.

Well, this afternoon I did a lot and achieved little.
After going to the bank and the supermarket I decided to visit my brother. When I got there I found out that he was not at home. I will try again another time.
After this I came home and decided to call Sky TV because I am having some trouble with my TV channels. I spoke with a guy there and he told me to take the cables from the back of the box and then put them back in. After struggling to turn the TV around to get to the back of the box I found to my dismay that the cables were too tight in for me to turn with my fingers. I needed pliers. Unfortunately I do not Posess pliers. Geesh !! Not only that I forgot that my phone was connected to the same socket as my TV, so when I turned my electric off I also turned my phone of LOL. This meant I lost connection to the Sky guy. Not to worry I will go buy some pliers then I will call Sky again tomorrow maybe. Can't be bothered to do it today.

Another Sunday

Well another Sunday arrives. Another working week comes to a close. This week has been very busy. Just one more shift then I can relax for a couple of days

Frank

Well, once again Frank has gone quiet on me. He has stopped playing with me and worst of all he has stopped emailing me. This is the second time he has done this. I am trying my best to get him back but I am guessing this time it's over. If only he would write to me to tell me. I will continue emailing him for a little while extra but if he continues to blank me then I will have no other way to go than to call it a day, even though it will hurt me so much.
That's my two best Internet friends giving me the push. Rui and now Frank. I must really be a rotten friend to have.

My friend, Frank's playstation has died on him. My true fear is that if he cannot get it repaired I will lose him, and I don't want that. I pray that he stays in touch with me, through email and hotmail.. If I lose him then I lose everything I have. He means the world to me.

Was at the insurance office again this afternoon. I now have taken insurance with them. She says I must go to the bank and make sure I've cancelled the direct debit arrangements I set up with the Internet company. She also wrote a letter for me to post to them and include the agreement they sent. I will do this tomorrow.

Going to the car insurance office today. I need to get a copy of my no claims bonus details. I'll really be glad when this is completed. What a carry on, just to get car insurance.
Apart from that I am hoping for a nice relaxing day off work.

Well, I'm off to the dentist today. I was meant to go last week, but I was on the playstation, and completely forgot to go.

Talking about playstation, my good friend, Frank from USA has suddenly decided he dosent want to be my friend anymore. I am heartbroken, but no matter what I say or do, I don't think I can change his mind. I have seen this coming for weeks now. From being a happy chatty guy he has become withdrawn and only spoke in one word sentences. He has stopped emailing me and his games on tiger have become shorter and shorter.

However, as I said it is up to him now if he still wants my friendship.

A truly awful day for me today. Nothing whatsoever went right. The boss was shouting at me, and everything I said or did was wrong.

Still no email from Frank, and Rui seems to have forgotten me. Oh my God. What a terrible life Its becoming. I thought that the turn of the new year would bring me better luck, but alas no. The bad luck continues

Well, today I had a full shift. Pretty quiet at work today. Business is definitely down recently. I see my old friend Rui,s team, Braga have to meet Liverpool in the next round of the cup. Liverpool are not the force they once were so I think Braga may win that game. Rangers beat Sporting Lisbon on away goals tonight. I never saw the game but heard it on the radio. Sounded very exciting

Well that's me home early from work again. The way it's going I am soon not going to have any wages to pay my bills. Yes my friends, whoever may be reading this, life is very Difficult for me. I guess I will have to try and keep my head above water until things change in the country.

I am now going to eat a pizza, then go on to tiger and try to play a couple of games. I doubt Frank wants to play with me as I think he is still mad with me. Hmmmp.

If you read this Rui, congratulations on Porto winning their game tonight in the Champions league. They are playing really well.
